Perfilm is an independent production company based in Prague, Czech Republic. The company was founded in 2018 by a young producer Tomáš Pertold. Perfilm has ambitions to create films with strong creative value and international outreach. We are focusing on developing and producing not only fiction and documentary films but also on experimental audiovisual content.     

The first projects were successful experimental films After the Magician by Lea Petříková (premiere at the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Miami, and Ji.hlava IDFF) and Radek Brousil’s film Can You Still Feel The Butterflies? (68th ISFF Oberhausen, ADAF, ELBE DOCK, PAF).

Recent project in postproduction is a feature experimental film by Lea Petříková If I Ever Lose My Eyes (supported by Czech Film Fund) and two short fiction films The Eight Day by Petr Pylypčuk (supported by Czech Film Fund) and Vojtěch Novotný’s immersive Paradise on Earth to See.

Pertold is currently developing a documentary debut of Tereza Daniell Adámková The Glass Ceiling (supported by the Czech Film Fund) and also a promising fiction feature debut God Break Down the Door of the director Vojtěch Novotný.
